This is more of a first impressions after I ordered some samples for colour matching. Will definitely order a full size and miss it every day since I have used up my sample!

gives a fresh looking skin, glowy but not overly so, slightly evened out complexion, happily moisturized skin.

I have test worn it for about 6 consecutive days and was very happy with how lightweight and moisturizing it felt on my skin. It worked for me with a moisturizer underneath (Dr. Hauschka Melissen Tagescreme)but also (3 days) without, which Indid not expect. (skin prepped with Whamisa Toner original and 2 drops of BYBI CPD Oil in both cases).
Did stay in place and did not settle into fine lines or get caught in peach fuzz. Worked well with powder blush (Andrea Biedermann). No need to blend out. Looooved the glow plus the fresh and healthy look!

I have moisture hungry skin, which can have slight flakiness on my cheeks and around nose. Get shiny on my nose and forehead. Every now and then I get one or the other stress related spot or hormonal breakout. There's slight redness on my cheek which I usually cover up with rms "un"cover-up, but did not find necessary with SSST as it was blurred just enough by its coverage. To cover up a brighter red spot, I still added "un"cover-up, which worked nicely.
I like a glowy complexion and my skin to still look like skin and am not looking for a full coverage product or something that completely erases everything.
Did not find it to be a thicker consistency, as others have commented. Would describe it as a serum-y consistency, more liquid than what I remember foundations to be. I would probably compare it to pure castor oil in terms of consistency, so not as liquid as thinner oils.
noticed no smell.

For colour reference: I use "un"cover-up in 00, Andrea Biedermann Mineral Concealer in Cristal (NW 10-15 in a MAC foundation...back in the days...if I remember correctly...), tested the two lightest shade and found ST1 to be a better match.
1ml lasted me 2 to 3 days, but for full SPF 40 you probably should use it a bit more generously, which I will once I no longer will want to make a sample go a long way..

To conclude: veeeery happy in terms of look, feel and convenince (less steps in my morning routine, yay)! Highly recommed! Can't wait to get it back!

I love the ILIA Serum Foundation (ST2 Tavarua) but usually use a skin tint as I prefer a lighter-coverage base – so this product was 100% what I was looking for. It's also great not to have to wear a separate SPF when I'm just going to the grocery store!

The texture of this product is a little thick or tacky when it comes out of the jar, but it feels amazing on the face once it's settled – super soft to the touch, and you really can't feel (or see) that you're wearing something.

I was worried the color was too light for me when it came out of the jar (it looked waay lighter than the swatch at first), but again, once it sinks in to the skin, it adjusted to match my skin tone. The ILIA website has many more pictures of models wearing the shades if you're not sure about a match :)

I doubt that I'm getting many skincare benefits as I layer this on top of 2-3 other products, but my skin texture has improved significantly just from swapping out my silicone-based skin tint!

Overall – highly recommend this! Amazingy, please stock this skin tint until the end of time

Let’s start with my only caveat: finding the right colour! The numbering isn’t straightforward. When Balos 03 was too light I was advised (by Ilia) to try Diaz 07 but… It was very visible on my skin, maybe my skin completely lacks that tint (a yellowy beige, but it's not their fault, the advice was based on a photo). I thought it was due to me buying Balos in the US and Diaz in the EU. However, Amazingy assured the formula is really the same: only the labeling is different because the EU didn’t include spf 40 in the labelling system. I decided to give it one more chance, tried Shela 08 and my trust was restored. So, provided that you find the right color… The finish of the super serum is skin like. The coverage is enough to even out my complexion whilst not so much that I would need blush to look alive. Did you ever experience how foundations can become cakey, appear greasy or settle in lines? The super serum is different. During the day it seemed to slowly disappear and it didn’t leave any such traces (but it still required a good cleanse). I apply the super serum by patting one or two drops in at the time. Ilia’s primer caused pilling, so my basis is just my skincare (a non-comedogenic, squalene based face oil, I have combination skin). It looks shiny at first and then reduces to a subtle glow and renders powder unnecessary. Today I was with my face in the sun all day, applied it a second time and its’ sun protection seems to work.
