This emollient-rich natural cleansing balm performs a gentle, yet powerful double duty.

Packed with potent natural ingredients, the formula gently melts away dirt, impurities and environmental pollutants, and also reduces TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). Sensitive skin is soothed and your radiant glow is restored.

Key Ingredients:

• Olus (vegetable) Oil: A highly skin compatible mixture of non-polar vegetable oils – cotton, safflower and corn – that considerably reduce the loss of transepidermal water. Their polarity makes them very effective at removing dirt, impurities, pollution and even stubborn makeup, whilst deep cleansing pores.
• Bisabolol: Derived from chamomile essential oil, it is very effective at soothing the most sensitive and reactive skins. It also has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
• Tocopherol: In its natural form this is the most skin-friendly vitamin, as it’s known to repair and improve skin function all round.

As a PhD student I realised that some oils worked better at dissolving impurities than others, so after several trials, I was able to select and combine the natural ones which worked best for this task. What’s more, they are all from sustainable sources, coming from fast growing plants, that have little need for water and do not require special care. Their seeds provide a large amount of oil.”
