The BLACK SOAP consists solely of four powerful ingredients: sea salt & vegetable ash, which work to cleanse the skin deep into the pores, remove makeup & excess sebum, and also reduce blemishes. Rich shea butter & glycerin provide nourishment and help moisturize the skin.
For thousands of years, the African BLACK SOAP has been used in Ghana & Nigeria to cleanse & care for the skin, as well as to alleviate skin irritation. There it is often referred to as "Alata Samina" or "Ose Dudu" and is still handmade in Ghanaian & Nigerian villages using the "cold stirring" method. There are now more than 100 variations of the African BLACK SOAP. These recipes have been passed down and changed from generation to generation, but shea butter & plant ash have always been proven to form the most effective base.
The BLACK SOAP is suitable for all skin types & tones, and it can also be used as a body & hair soap.
