Rose-Marie Swift has been a make-up artist for over 20 years, and her work has been featured in Vogue (French, Italian, American, Nippon), W, Harper’s Bazaar, I.D., Self Service, V, Allure, Numero, Marie Claire, Glamour, Interview, and Elle.
Several years ago, Rose-Marie began to experience some health issues that were causing many problems physically, mentally and emotionally. After performing an extensive series of tests, she learned that her blood contained toxic levels of heavy metals, including aluminum, barium, cadmium, lead and mercury as well as high levels of pesticides and other chemicals. Rose-Marie was surprised when the technician asked her if she worked in the cosmetics industry – until then she had no idea that cosmetics could contribute to such serious health issues.
After years of rebuilding her health, Rose-Marie realized she wanted to help other women claim their right to healthy beauty, and embarked on a path that brought her to the creation of rms beauty™ organic make-up. Rose-Marie is an outspoken advocate for protecting ourselves from the toxic chemicals found in products we use on our bodies daily.
She created the website www.beautytruth.com to dispel beauty myths and expose the dangers of personal care products and in 2009 Rose-Marie created her own line of organic color cosmetics RMS Beauty.
She is frequently interviewed for health and beauty publications, and is quickly becoming a popular guest on radio and television programs as she teaches about this very important subject. Rose-Marie continues to work in the fashion industry, and now uses RMS Beauty products on some of the world’s most famous faces.
rms beauty make-up has appeared in ads for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Max Mara, The Gap, Biotherm, Victoria’s Secret and more. She has beautified the famous faces of Gisele Bunchen, Miranda Kerr, Celine Dion, Paloma Picasso, Isabel Rossalini, Milla Jovovich, and many others. She has been fortunate to work with some of the top fashion photographers in the world including Mario Sorrenti, Mert Alas&Marcus Piggott, Glen Luchford, Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz, Terry Richardson, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Arthur Elgort, and Patrick Demarchelier.
