Before applying always test a bit on the back of your hand, to see it the line has desired width. If not you can sharpen your pencil. If the pencil feels to dry, the test drawing on the back of your hand will warm your pencil and help it to glide on smoothly again.
TIP: Rest your elbow on a flat surface to steady your hand to ensure even application
Upper lid:
For a basic liner, start in the middle of the lid as close to your lash line as possible and work towards the outer corner of the eye. You can end the liner at the outer corner or take it a bit further up for the so called winged eyeliner look.Then softly work to liner into the inner corners of your eyes.
Lower lid:
Place the pencil as close to your lash line and slowly draw or dot a thin line or from the outer corner to the inner corner until about 2/3 of the lid.
Of course this is just an example of how to apply HIRO's eyeliner pencil, there are no rules, just play with it!

Recommendation for purchase
Ils ont une très bonne tenue, les couleurs sont belles et intenses.
Stayed put really well (eye care had time to absorb, slightly powered eyelid, as I always do) even though wearing it on a hours long walk in fine rain without umbrella. Applied nicely, deep black colour, no scent.
For reference, my go-to for years has been the Und Gretel eyeliner and Hiro's performed just as well. Worst I have EEEEVER tried on me was Benecos', which was all over my undereye, lid, everywhere, just no trace left on the upper lash line where I had applied it the way I always do(no tightlining) and wanted it to stay.
Very impressed with Hiro!
- Sie können klare, präzise Linien und Eyeliner ziehen und behalten die Form und Spitze. (Sie fühlen sich weder hart, noch kratzig an oder hinterlassen winzige "Bröselchen", wie ich es schon bei anderen Stiften hatte - sehr nervig bei Fotoshootings, wo Close-ups gemacht werden!)
- Sie haben intensive Farbe, halten auch auf der Wasserlinie tiptop, lassen sich durch Verwischen weicher anlegen, und das Braun ist auch farblich so gut ausbalanciert, dass es auf der Wasserlinie sehr schön und nicht rötlich aussieht.
- Auch als Augenbrauenstift (braun) verwendet, hatte ich sofort eine schöne, natürliche Wirkung mit guter Definition.
- sie sind auch für Kontaktlinsenaugen sehr gut geeignet
- sie sind aus Holz und lassen sich gut spitzen, kein bröseliges Holz
