Traditionally, serums deliver potent active ingredients, while moisturisers have much thicker consistency to prevent water loss and keep skin supple. This Super Serum is something of a hybrid. It has an impressive inci list of actives and a light texture that absorbs fast and while its main function is to super-charge your skin with protective antioxidants, it can also double as a light day moisturiser.

The multi-correctional formula is an antioxidant powerhouse, designed with actives such as Vitamin C (10%), Co-Q10+, Astaxanthin, 1% Green tea extract in the form of EGCG, Superoxide Dismutase and potent botanicals, including precious Cranberry, Amazon Pequi oil and Phosphatidylcholine rich lecithin to nourish and shield skin from environmental pollution, while working hard to prevent collagen degradation and pigmentation.

If l-ascorbic acid based serums are too sensitising for you, this serum is a great alternative. It contains two types of vitamin c esters (5% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and 5% Ascorbyl Glucoside) to help you get the all benefits of vitamin c without the harsh side effects. One of the reasons these esters do not irritate as much as l-ascorbic acid is due to it’s pH of 5 (skin's natural pH). Most L ascorbic acid serums require a pH of around 3 which is extremely acidic for most complexions. Furthermore, our proprietary signature infusion of anti-inflammatory herbs - Dandelion, Liquorice, Ginkgo biloba, Marshmallow, Plantain and Calendula works in synergy with Hyaluronic acid, Ceramides and Phytosterols to address skin conditions such as dehydration, pore congestion and loss of vitality. INGREDIENT SPOTLIGHT

Olive Squalane - Similar to the skin’s sebum, squalane is one of the best natural emollients. It penetrates skin faster than any other oil, making it a great carrier for other actives. Squalane is also an anti-bacterial and an antioxidant that prevents UV damage and formation of age spots.

EGCG (green tea extract) - EGCG can help reduce scarring and even shrink keloid scars by up to 40%. It is wonderful at treating redness and irritation as well as being a powerful antioxidant.

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C) - One of the most potent forms of vitamin C, due to its lipid solubility, which allows it to penetrate straight into the dermis without any irritation. Powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, phyto-protectant, collagen synthesis promoter and wound healer are just few of the properties this super active has. Due to its effectiveness in low concentrations, it is gentle to sensitive skin and works really well for people who cannot tolerate L-ascorbic acid.
