Soapwalla's Deodorant Cream is free from harmful chemicals, petroleum, or aluminum compounds found in commercial antiperspirants (linked to alzheimer's and breast cancer), is vegan, and is never ever tested on animals.
Soapwalla's deodorant cream is effective at absorbing moisture; but because it is formulated without the use of aluminum zirconium, it is not an antiperspirant.
Available in 2 scents:
- Original: Lavender, peppermint, tea tree
- Citrus: Litsea cubeba, bergaptene-free bergamot (non-photosensitizing), citrus essential oils and vanilla absolute combine to create a stimulating fragrance that effectively and reliably deodorizes.
In hot weather, your deodorant may arrive in a liquefied or crumbly state - don't fret! Soapwalla Deodorant is without any unnecessary waxes or hardeners, so temperature fluctuations will alter the solidity of your deodorant. Simply mix thoroughly to reincorporate clays and liquids, then pop in the freezer for about 20 min, until resolidified. You'll be as good as new!
Scoop a little with your finger and gently apply to the entire, DRY, armpit (don’t push hard, it’s sensitive skin). Make sure it’s absorbed completely (absorbs quickly), then go about your day stink-free!
Ensure deodorant is mixed completely - some separation is normal but can be easily fixed: just mix really really well - a solid 30 seconds or so - with a finger or chopstick - and place directly in the freezer for 30-45 minutes to help resolidify. The softeness won't affect the efficacy of the product. When they're softer it's important to mix periodically to ensure the deo's effectiveness by keeping the powders mixed in. They're heavier and like to sink to the bottom.
Note: You may notice increased skin sensitivity the day you shave. If so, please refrain from using the day you shave, and resume your deodorant use the next day. Alternatively, some clients shave in the evening, then use the deodorant the next morning without issue.

Recommendation for purchase
Eine Packung hält bei mir ca. 4-5 Monate, allerdings benutze ich es auch nicht täglich.
An sich bin ich super zufrieden mit dem Deo. Es ist halt kein vergleich zu einem Spray mit Aluminium, was zuverlässig trocken hält. Aber dafür, dass es vegan, natürlich, bio und aluminiumfrei ist, ist es klasse! Es hilft effektiv und langanhaltend gegen unangenehme Schweißgerüche. Allerdings müffelt es nach einer gewissen Zeit. Nach Möglichkeit dann einfach abwaschen und neu auftragen.
Der Geruch ist am Anfang gewöhnungsbedürftig und auch dass man trotzdem "nass" wird unter den Armen.
Mein persönliches Problem ist, dass ich öfter allergisch darauf reagieren (komischerweise nur einseitig). Deshalb muss ich ab und zu mal ein bis zwei Tage pausieren, am besten auch nicht rasieren und die Achseln gut pflegen in der Zeit. Auch auf frisch rasierten Achseln (wenn kleine Verletzungen entstanden sind) vertrage ich es manchmal nicht so gut. Wenn es dann brennt wasche ich es wieder ab und benutze Panthenol-Creme.
Trotz allem mag ich das Deo sehr. Kann aber leider bezüglich der genannten Mängel keine vollen Sterne geben.
Wünschenswert wäre noch eine Recyclingmöglichkeit der Plastikdosen oder eine Verpackung aus Glas.

Das Deo als solches ist perfekt. Es wirkt lange und verhindert unangenehme Gerüche.
Wäre da nicht der unangenehme Nebeneffekt, dass es die Wäsche verfärbt. Weisse Wäsche wird gelb, dunkle Wäsche verfärbt sich.
Es wird immer gesagt, dass das ausschließlich bei Deos mit Aluminium passiert. Leider ist es bei der Deocreme aber auch der Fall.
Schade finde ich obenauf, dass es in einer Plastikdose abgefüllt ist.

Da ich ziemlich schwitze, hatte ich bis jetzt immer Puder benutzt.
Eine Umgewöhnung ist es schon, mit dem Soapwalla schwitzt man zwar deutlich weniger, als mit anderen Deos, ein wenig aber schon noch. Daran musste ich mich erst noch gewöhnen.
Was mit aber vollends überzeugt hat, ist die extrem lange Wirkung des Deos. An heißen Tagen musste ich schon mal nachpudern, das Soapwalla hält tatsächlich einen ganzen Tag, ohne jegliche Gerüche.
Das originale würde ich jetzt als fast geruchlos bezeichnen, was auch nach 16 Stunden noch zutrifft.
Ein erstklassiges Deo! Und das noch ganz natürlich. Es ist auch noch pflegend, meine ständig geröteten Achseln sind Vergangenheit.
