unfortunately not for my skin

It hurts me to write something negative, because I love ML products. It is simply too expensive for what it is, an oil. I also find that my skin doesn't absorb it. It stays on top for a long time. I spray my face with her Jasmin Garten which I adore but I won't be repurchasing this.

nicht reichhaltig genug

Einiges an diesem Gesichtsöl ist wirklich toll. Es riecht ganz wunderbar kräutrig-würzig, lässt sich schön verteilen, und zieht auch schnell ein. Solange es aufgetragen ist, ist die Haut auch glowy und gut durchfeuchet.
Leider gilt das aber nicht, sobald man das Öl wieder abwäscht. Ich habe es 10 Tage lang testen können, und meine tendenziell trockene Haut wurde über die Dauer immer trockener und wenn ich das Öl nicht aufgetragen habe, hatte ich am Kinn und auf der Stirn stark trockene, schuppende Stellen, und das wurde jeden Tag schlimmer. Da ich ein extrem hellhäutiges Schneewittchen bin, ist auch die Farbe des Öls zu beachten. Es ist sehr orange, und hinterlässt erstmal auch einen leicht orangen Hauch auf der Haut.
Ich verwende schon seit mehreren Jahren nur noch organic Gesichtöle und Ölbalms, und dieses Öl hat mich leider nicht überzeiigen können. Es ist ein ganz gutes Öl, die Anwendung ist sehr angenehm, aber der Preis ist für mein Empfinden bei der Produktmenge und Wirkung eindeutig zu hoch.

Perfect Face Oil

I'm a big fan of face oils and I've tried many of them but not even one compares to The Youth Dew.
This was not love on first sight as I had some very mixed emotions about it at the very beginning, but we're best friends now :)
I admit I discontinued using it at a certain point (due to its price), telling myself that sticking to some less expensive oils would be fine, too, but I keep coming back to this precious orange jewel. I have just reordered it, happy for the 30 ml upgrade and even though I'm perfectly aware that it's still expensive, it's absolutely worth it, up to the last drop.
Not greasy, deliciously absorbed, it leaves my dry skin plump, soft, nourished, happy.
One of the reviews claims some sun damage as a result of using THY in daytime – well, I haven't experienced that and my skin is really fair, almost pale. And I live on the sea, in S Europe, with hot, sunny summers.
I just hope I will be able to afford it forever, because downgrading from The Youth Dew to anything else would be a bit heartbreaking.

CAUSES SUN DAMAGE

I wish I could say a nicer review for this. It smells good and comes out a deep color. But the bottle is small, not the 30ml as is expected for other oils while the price is quite high. I used 3 bottles of this and found sunspots developing along my cheek bones. New ones are appearing, I am in my 40s and have never had sunspots before and all of a sudden when I add this oil, I have this problem. I wear SPF 30 every day. This oil is toxic for day time and should come with a warning.

Das Öl ist sehr pflegend und feuchtigkeitsspendend und duftet einfach himmlisch! Ich verwende es als Tagespflege nach The Honey Mud! Die Haut wird seidenweich und meine Kjaer Weis Foundation absolut makellos und hält den ganzen Tag!

Dieses ML Gesichtsöl stellt alles bisher verwendete in den Schatten. Eine positive Hautveränderung zeigte sich bereits nach der 1. Anwendung. Ich konnte es kaum glauben ...
Die Haut war: Prall, weich und mit viel Feuchtigkeit versorgt, die Gesichtszüge entspannt. Ich möchte dieses Öl nie mehr missen. Es wird ein stetes Nachkaufprodukt von mir sein und auch bleiben.

As one other reviewer wrote not to being able to imagine I would ever pay so much for a face-oil... But I also did buy The Youth Dew and I am not disappointed at all. Better yet, I am 'afraid' I am going to use this forever! Great substance (oil is not the right word to prescribe this heavenly skinproduct). Sinks in immediately, and does not feel sticky at all (which I hate). Superb scent, lovely to just simply smell (inhale) the gorgeous smell and then to apply it on your face. Great to wear under make-up... But the best thing is, after a few days of use your skin looks so good and so very well moisturized, you do not even need (and want) to wear make-up anymore! A must try!

Orange middle consistancy oil, but it absorbs very well. Strong tuberose-heliotrop scent. The scent gets lighter, but i dont want to put something like that on my face. Also way to expensive 128€ for 20 ml!

Der Duft ist bereits mehrfach angepriesen worden, es ist wirklich köstlich. Das Öl ist seidig und fein. Es ist in allem ein gutes Öl, aber für mich persönlich auch nicht mehr. Es liefert mäßig sichtbare Resultate, bedeutet: es ist nett aber nicht herausragend. Es ist sanft und leicht, verstopft die Poren nicht, erhält den guten Zustand bereits gesunder, unproblematischer Haut. Keine Anti-Aging Wirkung sichtbar.
Die Inhaltsstoffe könnten den relativ hohen Preis rechtfertigen, aber mir fehlt einfach der WOW-Effekt für die 130 Euro

Unvergleichbar!

Als ich durch einen Blog das erste Mal auf die Marke May Lindstrom stieß, konnte ich mir nicht im entferntesten vorstellen, einen solch hohen Preis für ein Gesichtsöl zu bezahlen. Dennoch ließ es mich über Wochen nicht los und ich bestellte schließlich The youth dew. Dieses Öl ist wirklich unvergleichbar in jeglicher Hinsicht! Es lässt sich geschmeidig auftragen, zieht schnell ein -es liegt wirklich in keiner Weise auf der Haut- und hinterlässt ein zartes, feinporiges Finish. Seit ich es (zusammen mit The clean dirt) benutze, habe ich weder trockene Hautstellen, noch Unterlagerungen oder Pickel. Absolut empfehlenswert und seinen Preis definitiv wert!!
