I love eyecreams. I don't know why exactly but they just do it for me. If I could have them for breakfast, I would.

Now, the funny thing is: Dr. Alkaitis products are actually edible. I tried: my cat loves this stuff.

Anyway, having tried many, many eyecreams, this is the one I keep coming back to. I love its smell and texture and how it absorbs almost instantly. In fact, even compared to all the high-end non-organic products I used in the past, this one beats them all.

Seen from a technical view: as with all Dr. Alkaitis products, the balance of it's ingredients is just perfect: there are anti-aging ingredients as well as ingredients that are known to hydrate and reduce puffiness.

Now, beware: use only a very tiny bit. This stuff is super concentrated (no water - it's actually a serum). In fact, too much comes out for 2 eyes, even with one pump. Luckily it's not one of those all or nothing pumps, so you can be careful and make sure that less product comes out than with a full pump. Still, 1 star less for the packaging because of this.

Ich bin von den Dr. Alkaitis Produkten wirklich sehr enttäuscht, einschließlich dieser Augencreme. Die Creme riecht zwar sehr angenehm, zieht schnell weg und ist sehr ergiebig, dennoch muss ich sagen, sie hilft weder gegen Fältchen noch gegen Augenschatten oder geschwollene Augenlieder. I really love the dr. Alkaitis range especially the eye cream. At first I had to get you use to the smell, but now I'm addicted to it... :)
I'm a DJ and after a long night with only a few hours of sleep, this cream is my lifesaver: I look fresh, bright & awake! It does have one small negative sight, if you press the pump, way too much cream comes out, so no I know I only press with the slightest tension and half amount comes out which is the perfect dosage and makes it less expensive. It's super concentrated has not water in it, so you really need a small amount. Cheers!

Since I never know whether any of these products produce results (how would I look without?), the feel, smell and convenience of a product is what really matters. In the case of this eye cream, its smell is not the most pleasant, but what is really annoying is the state and consistency of the cream. My particular sample is so liquid, even more than body milk, that it just drops of the fingers before applying it. Not really recommendable. I love the soothing gel of the same product line though!

Pros:
- Great moisturising and soothing properties.
- The gel consistency feels wonderful and absorbs instantly into the skin.
- Improves skin's texture, gently smoothes away fine lines.

Cons:
- The scent. I really struggled to get used to it.
- I didn't notice any difference in terms of reduced puffiness and dark circles.
- Lovely packaging, but I wish it dispenses a bit less of the product.

Despite these (minor) drawbacks, my skin loves the protecting and rejuvenating effects this cream provides.

Now that I'm 40+ ;-o wrinkles are a serious issue but now I seem to have found something to postpone these signs of ageing. I already look much more relaxed after 4 weeks of use.
