Fans of (often aggressive) microdermabrasion treatments or scrubs should definitely try May Lindstrom's The Clean Dirt, which almost gives the same result while still being gentle to the skin. The Ritual: Pour a teaspoon of powder formula into palm, slowly add drops of water to activate, and blend to a soft mousse consistency. Massage into skin, avoiding eye area.
Expect a slightly hot and tingling sensation. Rinse, and follow with The Youth Dew or The Blue Cocoon.

Recommendation for purchase
I had been wishing to try the May Lindstrom Skin range out for years and was glad to discover that Amazingy offers the possibility of ordering samples before investing in full-size products. I’ve started with The Honey Mud, The Blue Cocoon and The Pendulum Potion.
After testing the above and based on reviews on both Amazingy’s and May’s own website, I decided to first order the full-size Honey Mud and a product I hadn’t tested, but users were raving about, The Problem Solver.
My skin is very reactive and for the past several years I have been going through the worst stress and hormone related acne breakouts ever, so I thought it could benefit from the healing detox reviews were talking about. Unfortunately, it was not the answer for me - the breakouts got much worse (which wouldn’t have surprised me in the beginning, while the congestion was releasing, but my skin rebelled constantly during the almost three months I’ve been using it).
A few weeks ago, I placed an order for a totally different product and chose The Clean Dirt as one of my complementary samples. And surprise: ...
It has a spicy smell. The result is fantastic, it cleans the skin, refines the pores... I love it, for me it's one of the best exfoliators that I used. It's very good for the T-zone.
Das "Anrühren" in der Hand erfordert noch etwas Übung meinerseits. Doch ich mag, wie er beim "anrühren" leicht schäumt und ich mag den Duft (das ist mehr als mögen!). Das auf-die-Haut-auftragen ist dann wiederum unspektakulär und es fühlt sich einfach wie ein Peeling an, aber die Haut danach! WOW.
Bei einem mehr zufälligen Blick nach dem Abwaschen in den Spiegel habe ich sofort den "brightening"-Effekt wahrgenommen. Und meine Haut fühlte sich weich und sauber, nicht ausgetrocknet und gut gepflegt an.
Inzwischen benutze ich den Clean Dirt jeden Morgen und finde meine Haut weicher, reiner, ruhiger.
Der Nachteil dieser Probe: ich leide seitdem an einer May-Lindstrom-Sucht!

I use this product every morning. I absolutely love it. I have a combination skin and at first I started to use it 3 times a week. Because its a daily product I tried to use it every day and my skin started to look more and more bright, smooth and balanced. Now I use it every day and I can´t miss it. May is the best.
