Bisabolol is a component of several essential oils. German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) is the most used, and well-known source. Bisabolol can help products penetrate the skin better but it's also thought to be antibacterial, an anti-irritant, anti-fungal and to have anti-inflammatory and skin conditioning properties.
