Dilinoleic acid/propanediol copolymer is a 100% vegetable polyester derived from 1,3 propanediol and dimer dilinoleic acid. Dilinoleic acid is a combination of two chains of linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is the main ingredient in many vegetable oils, such as argan, sunflower, soybean, olive and canola. Propanediol and dilinoleic acid have binding properties and give products a glossy appearance. Dilinoleic acid/propanediol copolymer increases the time a product stays put (making it longer-wear) and makes it more transfer-proof and long-lasting.
