As one of Amazingy’s founders and a new mom on top of that, keeping up with an extensive daily beauty routine isn’t an easy task. With her company growing even faster than her toddler, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. But as you might expect, Ingrid knows a thing or two about natural beauty, and she was happy to share with us some of her secrets to looking great and feeling amazing(y).

So Ingy, what’s your number one beauty or makeup tip to look good when you’re running out the door? Any quick morning routine tips to get yourself looking hot and presentable even if you’re pressed for time?
I tend to go with the basics: a bit of mascara, a peachy pink mineral blush from HIRO Cosmetics called Sweetie Darling, and finishing it all up with good concealer like HIRO’s Space Balm to cover up any blemishes, redness or circles I might have under my eyes.
I’m a big fan of blush: it creates a healthy look in just a few seconds, like you just worked out, and mascara is great for making your eyes pop. My favorite mascara is ILIA’s Nightfall. If I do manage to do all of that and still have one more minute left, I’ll try to define my eyes a bit with a little eyeliner. At the moment, I’m crazy about ILIA’s Nightclubbing, it adds just the right amount of dramatic touch.
What’s the first thing you had to cut out of your beauty routine when you became a mom?
Well, there were no radical changes in my regular beauty routine. I’ve always tried to keep things simple. I do tend to go without makeup a bit more frequently these days, and that feels awesome, to be honest! Luckily, I’m blessed with clear skin, so on the days I don’t feel like wearing eye makeup, or on days that the dark circles under my eyes are more visible, I simply wear my big nerdy glasses instead of my contacts – it’s the perfect camouflage 🙂
What’s the beauty routine or product you can’t live without since you became a mom?
The biggest problem we mommies have is lack of sleep. To cover that up, you need to have a daily nap of about 20 min (I like mine after lunch), and you need to smile your biggest smile, even if you don’t feel like it – it will make you shine in an instant!
Next to that, I can’t live without a highlighter anymore. It’s my secret weapon for the ultimate “mommy glow”. My favorite one so far is ILIA’s Cosmic Dancer. Add a little highlighter on & above the cheekbones and you’re good to go. Putting a few strokes above your eyebrows also creates the illusion of an instant lift, and the best thing of all: it makes you look like you slept like a baby! Or actually, not like a baby – more like a grown up without children. The finishing touch is adding a little bit of rouge on the cheeks. Go for peachy pinks, as those tints create a nice fresh look.

Csilla is a huge book nerd, and would talk your ear off about her favourite author for hours if you let her. Even though she works with online media, she secretly longs for the days when people spent time reading real books and real magazines printed on real paper instead of staring at various screens all day. But technological development stops for no one, so instead of fighting it, she decided to embrace the whole thing: she's now a published author on multiple websites, owns a Kindle named Jinx (after her favorite drag queen), and can frequently be seen bumping into trashcans, people and traffic lights around Berlin, reading and walking at the same time.
