What do you get when you combine PRTTY Peaushun, rms Beauty, Hiro Cosmetics make-up, Berlin\u2019s very own Crystalmafia, and Sado Opera? That\u2019s right \u2014 glittery mayhem caught on camera, flashy dramatic colors, and a little thing we like to call glamour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Crystalmafia<\/a> is a creative agency focusing on live performances, set design, installations, videography, and photography. They\u2019ve been in the game for 12 years now and, with this photoshoot, their goal was to show that natural and organic make-up can also work wonders for theatric endeavours.\u00a0Sado Opera<\/a>, the muses for this particular photographic endeavor, is an electro punk cabaret group, known for their extreme on-stage looks.<\/p>\n

Inspired by Sado Opera\u2019s face paint, Crystalmafia decided to re-create their look with make-up that is less harsh on the skin compared to your average stage make-up. That\u2019s where RMS and Hiro come into the picture.<\/p>\n

Crystalmafia applied all the make-up themselves, using only their hands and fingertips as tools. The hands-only technique they used makes it especially easy to follow their example in the event that you require a special look for a wild night on the town.
\nHere are a few tips from Kieran from Crystalmafia to achieve certain effects:<\/p>\n

For the first set of images, we warmed up the RMS colors in our palms before dabbing it on with fingertips. We love this layered wet look; the warming up of the eye-cream made it possible for it to really get into the creases of the eyes and feel like paint.<\/p>\n

The pigments in the middle photos were also dabbed on with only using fingertips. In addition, I scooped out some of the pigment into the palm of my hand and blew it softly on her (Katya\u2019s) face. I love it when the pigments combine and the powder settles in certain shapes on the face, as it creates a wonderful artistic look.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
