Manon, our lovely French co-worker at the head office in Berlin is leaving the team to pursue other adventures in France. As her last week was approaching we decided to do a little photo shoot as a farewell. Add a bit of sekt and a whole lot of fun, and we have ended up with beautiful pictures to hang on one of the office walls as a happy memory of a brilliant colleague.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Make-up artist Sabine Szekely chose from our range of organic and natural cosmetics to create this beautiful look for Manon.
\nHere are the products she used and the steps that were taken, so that you can create this fresh summer look for yourself.\u00a0Manon has a yellow undertone, which is why Sabine chose yellowish tints and tones. (To read more about determining your skin\u2019s undertone, Sabine explains it all here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To give the skin a healthy glow, Sabine used two shades of Kjaer Weis foundation: For highlighting the t-bone area and accenting the upper cheekbone \u2018Like Porcelain<\/a>\u2019 is used. By adding a few touches of the color \u2018Velvety\u2019<\/a>\u00a0the face is getting its perfect contouring and shape. This is done by applying it on the parts of the face that should fall further to the back, like underneath the cheeks, the jaw-line and close to the hairline.
\nBoth colors separately are not a perfect match for Manon’s skin color. Instead, these colors are used as accents, and blended together so that Sabine got the perfect matching shade for Manon\u2019s skin tone.
\nFor a perfect and easy application of the foundation Sabine used the Kjaer Weis foundation brush<\/a>. As a final step, blending the foundation, Sabine used the Angled Blush Brush<\/a> from Hiro.<\/p>\n

To give a nice freshness to the look, Sabine used the Kjaer Weis Blush Lovely<\/a> on the cheeks. To achieve this apply the blush with a tippling movement of the fingers and then blend it with the fingertips to get a nice transition between the different products and shades.<\/p>\n

Manon has bright eyes, which are even more emphasized by the light smoky eyes created by Sabine. Our makeup artist applied the Kjaer Weis eye shadow \u2018Cloud Nine<\/a>\u2019 generously on the upper lid with the Hiro All Over Eye Brush<\/a>. If you don’t have any eye shadow primer, here\u2019s a tip from our pro: always use a light color as a base. Doing this will reduce the oiliness on the upper lid and your eye shadow will stay all night where it should, instead of disappearing into the crease. Afterwards Sabine applied the Kjaer Weis eye shadows \u2018Wisdom<\/a>\u2019, \u2018Pretty Purple<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018Divine<\/a>\u2019 to create the smoky look. For the blending she used the Hiro Multi Eye Brush<\/a>. The RMS Thickening & Voluminizing Mascara<\/a> finished the look.<\/p>\n

To minimize shine and set the makeup for the day the RMS Un-Powder<\/a> is used, after which the lips are highlighted with \u2018Jump<\/a>\u2019, the beautiful red-pinkish color from Ilia.<\/p>\n

Manon has a very classic and sophisticated style mixed with a hint of young bohemian, and to stay true to that Sabine created two different hairstyles for Manon: One in which half of her hair was put up in a loose bun, the other one with Manon\u2019s hair let down, freely flowing on her shoulders. The only products that were used were just adding some natural shine and form with the Less is More Time Lacquer<\/a> and Chitinspray<\/a>.<\/p>\n
