The streets are bustling with life, terraces are full, and the queues for the ice cream parlors are long. Around us we can still spot some pale skin, skinny legs and all, dying to soak itself in the rediscovered sun to stock up on some Vitamin D.
\nThe women look stunning, with beautiful jewelry and pretty clothes, tight shorts and sexy summer blouses. In their hands improvised fans, waving “cool” air onto their hair and faces, on which they wear gorgeous makeup in colours spelling summer. Inspired by the Berlin ladies, we show you a fresh and uncomplicated summer look.<\/p>\n

With the current heat, a lightweight mineral foundation works great. And by mixing 2 foundation colours, you can have the perfect tint all year long! Just use a little bit more of the lighter tone in winter, and a bit more of the darker tone in summer.\u00a0\u00a0Johanna is wearing a mix of HIRO in ‘Porcelain<\/a>‘ and ‘Honey Pon<\/a>‘,\u00a0on top of one of our most beloved facial creams for the summer: Kimberly Sayers SPF 30 Light Moisturizer<\/a>: a deliciously light facial cream with a fully natural, mineral UV filter. An awesome base for makeup.<\/p>\n For contouring we used HIRO Brown Sugar<\/a>, just a bit under the cheekbones. The powder that remained on the brush we applied gently on the nose, to create that sunkissed look. On the cheeks we applied a warm, gorgeous pink. It’s HIRO ‘The Sky Was Pink <\/a>‘. Talking about\u00a0The sky was pink<\/a>…. what a summer that was!<\/p>\n To reflect the colour on the cheeks on the lips, and to give the total picture a little Pink Kick, we mixed ILIA beauty’s “In My Room<\/a>” and RMS Beauty’s “Sublime<\/a>“. For those who think that’s colourful enough, you can finish the look with a good mascara, in this case ILIA Beauty in “Nightfall<\/a>“, and go out there, hit the hot asphalt towards the first ice cream shop you see. For those who dare to wear some more colour, quickly put your finger in a little pot of colour, here HIRO’s “Menthe Elle<\/a>“, to give the eyes\u00a0a pop art look in a fresh mint-green.<\/p>\n Extra tip: Moroccan Berber women use argan oil to protect their skin and hair against the harsh desert conditions.\u00a0This multipurpose oil contains powerful antioxidants and high concentrations of nutrients and essential fatty acids that are the building blocks of healthy skin.
