The holidays are fast approaching and many people are already pondering what gifts to give to their loved ones or what colours will decorate the christmas tree this year. Just as important is the question about what outfit to wear on festive events, part of this being to create the perfect look. A small but very effective accessory are festively painted nails.
\nOur suggestion are Holiday Nails with shimmery dots.<\/p>\n

The ideal base colour, which we wanted to be classic yet special, is sheswai LACQUER in stoned<\/a>. The blend of a creamy nude with a grayish finish is the modern version of the classic christmas red. It will show HIRO Mineral Shimmer Boogie Nights<\/a> off to its best advantage how you will see below.<\/p>\n

\"You<\/a><\/p>\n

Apart from the sheswai LACQUER in stoned and the HIRO Boogie Nights you will need a clear varnish (preferably quick-drying), a pin and a surface where to mix the Mineral Nailpolish. This could be a ceramic or mirror surface but glass or metal work just as well.<\/p>\n

\"File<\/a><\/p>\n

File your nails into shape and apply a base coat. Then apply the sheswai lacquer. One coat will result in a transparent light brown. If you like this subtle look you’re already done with the varnish. Two coats will create a creamy finish with a light grey tint – our favourite.<\/p>\n

\"Having<\/a><\/p>\n

Having let the varnish set it’s time now to blend the HIRO Mineral Shimmer with the clear varnish. Mix them both with the help of a small metal or wooden stick until you get a smooth texture. Make sure you mix the right ratio between the Mineral Shimmer and the clear varnish so that the mixture isn’t too sticky and well pigmented. Now tap the pin into the Mineral Nailpolish and apply it on your nails in whatever way you like. Be creative!<\/p>\n

\"Our<\/a><\/p>\n

Our Holiday Nails feature bigger and smaller dots covering part of the nail. This way the sheswai base colour still shows off and there’s a lively contrast between the patterned nail tip and the dark nude shade. The metallic shimmer of the dots reminds of the approaching holidays, is playful yet elegant.<\/p>\n
