Once a year, the sun returns to the exact point in space it was at the time of our birth \u2013 this is referred to as our “solar return”. With the SOLAR RETURN LOOK<\/em>, we choose to celebrate summer’s end & one of our beautiful Packing Angels, Diana\u00a0\u2013 as well as the sunshine, sunbathers, summer children & festival-goers\u00a0\u2013 and lest we forget, the sun itself\u00a0\u2665<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Diana<\/h4>\n

The basis for the look is the ILIA Serum Foundation<\/a> in the color Chios and the rms Beauty “Un” Powder<\/a>. For contouring, I used the HIRO Multistick<\/a> in Voodoo Ray (a cool plum tone), and\u00a0Lustrous<\/a> \u2013 one of two beautiful bronzers from Kjaer Weis\u00a0\u2013 gives her face a warm glow.<\/p>\n

Diana’s eyes shine brilliantly with a floating crease in bright yellow\u00a0\u2013 the eyeliner was drawn with the HIRO Mineral Eyeshadow in Mango Tango<\/a> mixed with a little water, using the Angle Eye Brush<\/a> from Kjaer Weis. Miss Sunshine<\/a> (one of HIRO’s other gorgeous yellow-tinted mineral eyeshadows) was applied onto the eyelid underneath. The Thickening & Voluminizing Mascara<\/a> by rms Beauty makes the eyelashes look like sun rays, giving even more detail & contrast to the eye makeup.<\/p>\n

In keeping with the solar theme, I added orange to the lips (another summer trend, along with the floating crease). The ILIA Lipstick Voil\u00e0<\/a> forms the base; as a finishing touch a little more Curious Lip2Cheek by rms Beauty (which is unfortunately no longer in stock\u00a0\u2013 as an alternative, you could use a bit of the color Smile<\/a> instead) on the lips & cheeks… and with that, this stellar summer look is ready to party \u2728<\/p>\n
