Your skin is super sensitive and going straight on your skin using a razor is actually very bad for skin, especially if it\u2019s already dry. You don\u2019t have to burn a hole through your pocket to get smooth silky skin. Many of the ingredients for a deliciously decadent shaving cream probably exist within your kitchen already.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are two different varieties: one with aloe as a key ingredient and the other as shea butter as a key ingredient. I recommend concocting the aloe version if you find that your legs are often itchy, blotchy, and red right after shaving. The shea butter version is better suited for super dry skin that needs that extra moisture boost.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1:1 Coconut oil with either aloe vera gel or shea butter<\/li>\n<li>2 spoonfuls of olive oil (other oils work well too, e.g. avocado, sweet almond, jojoba)<\/li>\n<li>Optional: essential oils for a lovely scent (I use lavender, because lavender is everything to me)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Melt the coconut oil and other component (aloe vera or shea butter). Once fully mixed, remove from heat. Add the olive oil and mix everthing together. Add the essential oil if you\u2019ve chosen to use some. Put this mixture into the fridge and let it harden. Once it\u2019s solid, place it in a large bowl and whip it up for a creamy dreamy texture. This\u2019ll take around 3 or 4 minutes. Store in a glass jar with a tight lid. Apply a thin layer and let it sit for a minute on the skin before you begin shaving. I think you\u2019ll be delighted with smooth silky skin that you can\u2019t keep your hands off!<\/p>\n<p><em>*Stores for about 3 months.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tried out the recipe?
