This squishy little friend calls a lot of makeup bags its home. It ended up in mine maybe two years ago after trying out a wide selection of other sponges that all claimed to do the same thing: Apply foundation without making it look like actual foundation. After re-purchasing this little guy countless times I can now honestly say, the original Beautyblender beats all the others by miles.
\n<\/strong>
\nThe Beautyblender<\/a> is basically a sponge, with a pointed tip that helps distribute any foundation or cream product on your face. There several different kinds out there: the pink one is the original, the black ‘pro’<\/a> one has larger pores and is also slightly bigger. I like the pro one best since it does not soak up my foundation too much, though it was originally created to distribute products onto the whole body, not just the face, e.g. bronzer. Then there are also those tiny little lime green guys<\/a> which are supposed to let you apply your concealer to the tiniest areas.\u00a0
\nYou might ask now, why in the world should you spent 17 Euros on a sponge when you can use your finger tips or cheaper options instead?
\nThe specific texture of the Beautyblender sponge lets you apply any product. It’s easy to use and creates a natural and even finish on the skin, especially great for blending and contouring.
\n Cleaning up any makeup mistakes is also incredibly easy since you can soak up excess color by dabbing the Beautyblender onto the skin. <\/p>\n

Always use it wet and make sure to clean it on a daily basis. I feel like the solid cleanser<\/a> works best for cleaning, but a mild shampoo or Dr. Bronner’s soap<\/a> will also do the job. If you take good care of it it should last you at least 3-4 months and won’t let you down during your daily beauty routine. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
