Prep your skin<\/em><\/h2>\n

Many people overlook this step, but prepping the skin correctly will ensure that the Mineral Foundation lasts through the day. HIRO’s Mineral Foundation comes in the form of a fine loose powder and it adheres to the natural oil of your skin. If your skin is too moisturized or oily, it will melt away. If your skin is too dry, it looks like just powder ‘floating’ above your skin; so make sure your skin is adequately moisturized before applying. You may need a bit of trial & error here. As a general rule of thumb: wait about 5-10 minutes after applying a moisturizer before you apply the Mineral Foundation, depending on how fast your skin absorbs the moisturizer.

Get the right amount<\/em><\/h2>\n

Tap a small amount onto the container lid with your foundation brush. We recommend using HIRO’s Flat Top Foundation Brush<\/a>, as it picks up the adequate amount easily & more easily blends the Mineral Foundation onto the skin. Swirl the brush in the lid to pick up the foundation. Tap the brush gently to remove excess powder.\u00a0 I prefer to use the lid when removing any excess powder.<\/p>\n

Apply the foundation onto your skin using firm circular movements. Use a little at a time & add on layer by layer if need be. Start from the T-zone and work your way down to the neck area.
