Embrace winters cheekiest trend with the flush-faced makeup I recently spotted all over the runways. Stella McCartney, Michael Kors, Tibi and many more (all AW 15\/16) teased us with an ultra-feminine trend that works on every skin tone: flushed cheeks to the max.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t have to sculpt your face to emphasize your most flattering facial features. Put aside your contouring powders and stock up on warm peach tones, rosy tints or pink blushes instead.<\/p>\n

The goal is to create that healthy looking pink flush on your cheeks, similar to a delicate glow you get after a brisk walk in the cold. Concentrating color near the eyes will emphasize them just enough to not steal the spotlight from your cheeks. The best thing about this makeup tutorial is you don\u2019t have to freeze to achieve that alluring, wintery glow.<\/p>\n

Step 1: It\u2019s all about hydration<\/strong>
\nI can\u2019t say it often enough, a good facial cream is a must throughout the whole year, but your windswept face will definitely need some extra love and care during the winter. I suggest adding Floral Essence<\/a> by Tata Harper<\/a> to your beauty routine. The hyaluronic acid in this super light moisturizing toner spray is an additional hydration booster that not only moisturizes, but also helps plump your skin. After the skin prep on Andrine, our model, I used a tiny amount of ILIA\u00a0Vivid Foundation<\/a> in the tone Sandar to even out her skin tone. Next, I applied just a small amount of HIRO\u00a0Space Balm\u2019s Altaira<\/a> under the eye area.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Tender eyes<\/strong>
\nTo show of Andrine\u2019s gorgeous cheekbones, I kept the rest of her makeup as minimal as possible. After applying just one coat of the Kjaer Weis Mascara<\/a> and the sheer nude lipstick Nobody\u2019s Baby<\/a> by ILIA<\/a>, I also filled in her brows with the Kjaer Weis Magnetic eye shadow<\/a>. \u2028For girls with thick brows, I recommend skipping this step. Just brush your brows in shape instead with the HIRO Lash Brush<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Rosy cheeks are here to stay<\/strong>
\nNow on to the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance! HIRO\u2019s mineral blushes <\/a>are perfect for this look, for multiple reasons. Not only are these mineral blushes easy to blend; the wide range in color is bound to suit every complexion. I went with From Fuchsia With Love for Andrine, a bold fuchsia pink with a slight sheen, and applied the blush with the Angled Blush Brush<\/a> by HIRO.<\/a>\u2028Pro tip: Try to apply the blush in a C-shape, starting at your eyelids, working the brush towards the temples and ending at the apples of your cheeks. This way you\u2019ll get an instant cheek lift without even having to sculpt your face!<\/p>\n
