For our final post of this year in the ILIA makeup how-to series, hair and makeup artist Aennikin<\/a> created a sweet yet sultry look using only IlIA Beauty cosmetics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This look is perfect for romantic winter days spent with that special someone, preferably with some Gl\u00fchwein, eggnog, or a Christmas tree around.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s how you can create the look<\/h2>\n

Step 1:\u00a0<\/strong>To\u00a0achieve\u00a0an even complexion, start with a cleansed and well-moisturized face before adding any make up. This time, we used a mixture of two tones of the ILIA Vivid Foundation<\/a>, Gobi and Tularosa, blending it together and applying it with the ILIA Foundation Brush.<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2:\u00a0<\/strong>On to those eye-catching eyes: To create this soft-spoken look, we used the ILIA Silken Shadow Stick in the shade You Spin Me Around.<\/a> Apply the eye shadow following the crease of your eye, and blend out the edges outwards using a brush.<\/p>\n

To intensify this look, we used ILIA’s\u00a0Violet Merlot – My Generation eyeliner<\/a> directly under Aniko\u2019s lashes, following the shape of her eyes.\u00a0A thin layer of the Shadow of a Doubt<\/a> mascara enhances the look, and additionally, we used the mascara on Aniko\u2019s eyebrows as well to enhance their natural shape and color.
\nPro tip:<\/em> no need to go easy on the eyebrows with this one, feel free to use a bit more of the mascara than you normally would, to create a wilder, messier effect.<\/p>\n

Step 3:\u00a0<\/strong>The pretty red-pinkish sheen on Aniko\u2019s lips is created with a layer of the ILIA Lip Gloss\u00a0Love Buzz<\/a>, followed by just a touch of Gypsy<\/a> in the middle of her lips to achieve a natural looking red tone.<\/p>\n
