While our first look for this Halloween, the Vampy Vampire<\/a>, was scary and sultry, the second one is cute and creepy. The marionette doll is a playful look, but it definitely has a certain spine tingling effect as well. Think of it as being alone in a room, surround by porcelain dolls, and how all their beady eyes are looking at you – spooky!<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to get the look<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> After washing and moisturizing your face, start by applying liquid foundation evenly over the entire face. We used the new ILIA Vivid Foundation in the shade Gobi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> An important part of achieving this look is the sharp and overplayed contouring. Apply thick strokes of a foundation at least three shades darker than your skin tone, brush over the cheekbones and on the bow of the chin. For this we used HIRO mineral foundation in shade Nina Pralina<\/a>. Then, highlight the contour lines with a white eye shadow by simply applying it around the edges of the contour lines.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Next, fill in the eyebrows with a black liner. This is part of what makes this look so striking. For this we used ILIA\u2019s Rebel Rebe<\/a>l eyeliner. The second part of the dramatic eye is the exaggerated white lower lid. Use a light cream foundation first and then a white eye shadow to create a semi circle underneath each eye. Alternatively, white eyeliner will also work for this. We created the semi circles using HIRO Space Balm 04<\/a> and HIRO\u2019s mineral eye shadow in the shade White Knight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Frame the white space with black eyeliner. Use a moist q-tip to clean up the edges and then paint spaced out lash lines on with the same liner. Again, we used ILIA\u2019s Rebel Rebel for the eyeliner here.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Almost done: Dust the cheeks with a dark pink blush. We chose Sweetie Darling<\/a> by HIRO for this. Afterwards, fill in the lips with a lighter pink shade. Neon Angel<\/a> by ILIA works well for this. Lastly, use your black eyeliner to puppet the mouth. If long enough, draw your hair into two cute buns to either side of your head and, voila, the Darling Doll is complete!<\/p>\n
