This dairy-free ice cream is made with a base of frozen bananas and topped with anything that will make your taste buds sing! Ingredients 5 frozen bananas a drop of vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon Additional toppings Fresh berries, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, drizzled honey or maple syrup, melted chocolate (or all of the above) Method 1. Mix frozen bananas and vanilla in a food processor until consistently smooth 2. Serve with toppings of choice and dust with cinnamon
Gluten-free, dairy free, sugar-free and addictively delicious, what boxes are these brownies not ticking? Ingredients 600g sweet potato 80g ground almonds 100g buckwheat flour (or any flour of choice also works) 14 medjool dates (these are the fat juicy kind) 4 tbsp cacao powder 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (or liquid sweetener of choice) Pinch of salt Method 1. Preheat oven to 180c. Peel and chop sweet potatoes into chunks and steam them until they are so soft they break a part when you try to lift them with a fork, roughly 20 minutes. 2. Mix sweet potato and dates in a food processor until smooth and creamy. 3. Add all remaining ingredients into a bowl, then fold in the sweet potato and date mix until completely mixed. 4. Empty the mixture into a parchment paper lined baking tray and pop in to oven for 20 minutes or until cook through. Prick test should come out clean. 5. Leave to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Note: These brownies are best kept in the fridge and served cold.
Gluten and dairy free, super simple and a great breakfast choice. Ingredients 1 banana 2 eggs Method 1. Mash banana in a bowl and mix in to organic eggs 2. Heat a tablespoon of coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour batter to make pancakes to preferred size and allow to cook through before flipping. Flip and cook other side.
Chocolate mousse is unquestionably one of the best desserts ever. But when it’s made to be healthy, who’s to say it’s only eaten at dessert time? Ingredients 1 ripe avocado 2 ripe bananas 6 medjool dates 2-3 tsp cacao powder 2 tsp nut butter (almond, cashew or find out how to make your own here) Method 1. Mix all ingredients into a food processor until creamy. 2. Set in fridge or enjoy straight away
It’s warming to the body and soothing to the soul, could it get any better? Oh yea, that’s right, it’s also good for you! Ingredients 1tbsp cacao powder 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup water 1 cup oat milk (or milk of choice) 1-2 tbsp of honey (or sweeter of choice) Method 1. Combine cacao powder, vanilla and some milk in a small pot to create a paste 2. Add in the rest of the milk and water over medium heat 3. Mix in sweetener and let warm for another few minutes.
