For our latest look created with products from the ILIA Beauty range, make up artist Aennikin envisioned a sultry look for our model Aniko. The end result ensured that with just one glance, she could make men (and women!) turn their heads wherever she goes.
The following products are needed to create this look:
ILIA Vivid Foundation in your preferred tone. For Aniko, we used Gobi and Tularosa Mascara – Nightfall Silken Shadow Stick – Take on me Silken Shadow Stick – And she was Eye liner – Rebel Rebel Lipstick Crayon – Come undone
Step 1: The complexion As always, start with a freshly cleaned face before applying any make up. To create a beautifully even tone, Aennikin used two tones of ILIA Vivid Foundation, Gobi and Tularosa, blending a few dabs together on her hand before applying it on Aniko’s face with the ILIA Beauty Foundation Brush. Make sure to blend out the edges on the face near the jaw- and hairline to prevent an artificial, painted on look.
Step 2: Fiery eyes Following the line of the crease of your eyes, fill out your eyelid completely, and make a swiping motion outwards at the outer corner of your eye, creating a more casual type of cat-eye look with the fiery red tone of the Silken Shadow Stick Take on me. Next, you’ll be adding a few highlighted touches with the And She Was Silken Shadow Stick, by simply dabbing it on the inner corners of your eyes.
To enhance the sultriness of this look, Aennikin used Rebel Rebel eye liner along the line of the lashes, this way making Aniko’s eyes pop even more. Use your fingers to smudge the liner just a bit for an extra smoky effect.
As for mascara, we opted to keep the look more natural, and only added one light layer of Nightfall on Aniko’s lashes.
Step 3: As the eyes get all the attention with this look, the lips just need a tiny bit of color enhancement. We used an ILIA Beauty lipstick crayon for the desired effect, in the tone Come Undone. The matte finish of the crayon ensures that Aniko’s eyes pop to their fullest.
