What on earth is that big yellow thing in the sky? Oh wait, that’s right, summer has finally arrived! Were you as surprised by the sudden change of season as I was? If so, I found a few last-minute solutions from the Amazingy shop to face those blistering rays head on.
Feet are easily forgotten and ignored during winter, most of the time all bundled up in thick fluffy socks. When they finally emerge from their warm cocoons in spring, the sight of them can be quite disturbing. Emergency aid comes in the form of a peeling, as well as routine nail care. The best foot scrub I have found so far is the Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub by Eco by Sonja / EcoTan. This magical concoction is enriched with coconut and macademia nut oil, conjuring up buttery soft skin within seconds. As for the nails; painted toenails always look fantastic in my opinion. In case you’re not a big fan of bright and flashy colors, you might take a liking to NCLA’s new nude tones. I had a hard time choosing a favorite one, but so far, Nr.3 has been spotted on my toes on more than one occasion.
When it suddenly becomes insanely warm outside, the sun blisteringly hot, Soapwalla comes to the rescue with their organic deodorant. The brand has long been known to having created the best organic deodorant out there, and I couldn’t agree more with the hype. Did you know that they recently also launched a citrus version of the cream deo? With a small dab under each pit you’ll smell all summery fresh, and nothing else.
Lazy summer nights are not complete without a guest appearance of a mosquito or two, three…or a hundred. No one likes the itchy bumps they leave behind after a visit, and here at Amazingy, we like the chemically filled anti-mosquito products even less. Anti-Midge Natural Insect Repellant from Eco Cosmetics is therefore a must have this summer. The ingredients in this product are based on traditional recipes used in holistic medicine, and in addition to repelling mosquitoes, the spray also nurtures the skin. What more could we possibly wish for?
With some nice shades and a couple of chilled beers added to this list, summer can be greeted properly. Happy sweating, till next month!
