Holy grail foundation – Check! I was on the hunt for the perfect organic foundation for the better part of my teenage and adult life and I can confidently say now that I’ve found it – long live Gressa’s Minimalist Serum foundation.
I love this serum foundation for its insanely smooth texture, its weightlessness, its natural coverage and everything else! My skin is pretty unproblematic nowadays – which has not alway been the case – so I don’t enjoy heavy foundations that cover up e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g – Gressa’s Foundation is perfect in this case because it’s super sheer and somehow still makes my skin look perfect, even and lovely. It’s basically magic! Based on broccoli seed oil, which supposedly acts like silicone, it feels extremely smooth and a breeze to apply. I usually use my fingers to apply it and blend it out with a damp beauty blender, creating a wonderful natural finish. If that wasn’t enough, as it’s oil-based it also nourishes the skin all day long. I follow up with concealer to cover any blemishes as Gressa’s foundation offers a light to medium coverage, so your skin can still shine through. This creates a much more natural look than a full-coverage foundation that sits heavily on top of your skin does, so I don’t mind having to do some extra concealing for spots that need it after I’ve applied the foundation.
Since I started wearing it I constantly get compliments on my skin. I used to suffer from many skin troubles when I was younger but now I feel much more confident – having great looking skin just feels awesome. Thanks for that, Gressa! If you’ve been hesitant about trying it despite the hype, do give it a go – it’s not something you’ll regret doing, I can promise you.
