My favourite memory.. it’s hard to choose! She taught me so much. But I would say it was the moment some years ago when I suddenly realized that I could not only bond with her as a daughter, but as also as a woman. From this point on, our relationship got stronger in many different ways. ❤️
Hi there! Like everyone, I too am very close to my mom and she is my best companion, mentor, buddy, friend…my everything in life! She has always been a great pillar of strength and support; and puts things into perspective when I’m dealing with troubled situations. It’s really hard to pinpoint any one particular memory but I’ll still give it a try. I think our trip to Goa last year is the dearest to me! It was just mom and I together in probably years!! We enjoyed and had fun like best of buddies, at the beach all day and… Read more »
My favourite memory with my mum is a long time ago as a child 🙂 I was unhappy with myself (how I looked).. My mum told me I was very beautiful and that many girls want to have such full lips like mine and that I could wear everything and it would look great 🙂 Her words boosted my self-confidence!! I would LOVE to win this amazing prize!!! My Instagram name is: goodoldvintage.de
Hallo! Wishing all of us a happy mother’s day. This is what I would like to share as my fondest association with my mom and motherhood: Part of my spiritual process is being able to provide affection like a mother to all. This simple thought has changed the way I approach people around me and more so how I communicate with myself. It makes me kinder and more understanding. My mom has been able to translate for me that I don’t need to give birth to become a mother. I can approach every aspect of my life with the same… Read more »
Some of my fondest childhood memories of my Mum are when she would be waiting at the door as I arrived home from school. If it was raining she would be ready with a towel and dry clothes. Then she would make me a snack to eat by the fire while she asked me about my day at school.
My mom is definitely my heroine, a strong woman with determination, raised 3 kids with utmost love.
I have sweet memories of my mom reading to me before bedtime when I was a girl!
Lovely idea! I’m super excited for the new foundation. Finally shades that cater to deeper skin tones as well. One of my favourite memories with my mom is actually make-up related. It was when she asked me, for the first time, to help her out with doing her own make-up. It’s funny because suddenly, the roles were reversed – after you’ve been ‘imitating’ and looking up to your moms make-up routine all the time as you were growing up, suddenly there was the point where I had more knowledge then her. After I did her make-up, it was amazing to… Read more »
Every mother in the world is a special gift and enrich our world with gentleness and much love, so every instant I spend with my mother is special and important. But the moment I remember as the most fondest is when I was at high school and I broke my leg at gym hours, then my mother everyday for a month cooked any sort of cake and cookies to make me happier and we shared every afternoon a cup of tea with the sweets she cooked for me. This is such a precious memory for me as a daughter and… Read more »
My fondest memory of my mom is when we used to go on walks every weekend and get ice cream at the cutest little ice cream truck. (:
My mom wasn’t really there for me when I was young but when I got my daughter, she was there for her and that is the most beautiful thing she could do for both of us. She became the best grandmother my kid could wish for.
My best memory with my mother dates back to my childhood, when I was 5 years old. She was baking a cake for my bother’s birthday while she was doing other two or three things together, like all mothers do! So, she was in a hurry and I wanted to help her, but I didn’t know what to do and so I remained in a corner of the kitchen looking at her with a sad expression, I think. After a while she noticed my distress, so she came to me and sad: “Let’s do that together. Could you help me,… Read more »
Awww, these new Hiro beauties look soo lovely. <3
For me the best moments with my mother were (and still are) the ones when we were outside in our huge (!) garden. While watering and harvesting our fruits, peas, potatoes and berries, I learnt a lot about about plants and gardening in general and this is still kind of magic to me. I still enjoy these rare moments with her, now I'm the one talking to her about wild herbs and their ingredients and nutritional benefits.
My favourite memory is that when My mom gave me her fav family necklace & said good words about me .. it was so emotional <3 FB : Billano Kawaii IG : @billano_kawaii
One the most special women on this earth is MY Mum. I am so thankful to this wonderful women for everything she did and still doing for me. We have so many beautiful moments together. But one of them is really special to me. That was the day when I delivered my son and she flew to Germany so she could be next to me on this special day. I thank God for giving me such an amazing Mum!
One of my favourite recent memories of my mom was for her 70th birthday. She had a pretty tough year and my siblings and I put together a surprise birthday party reuniting her own friends of family (children, grand-children, and great- grand-children) from around N. America and I, too, surprised her by coming over from Berlin. Most people could only stay for the weekend, but it was so good and necessary for her.
I have so many beautiful memories with my mom as she is my best friend. We do everything together and at the age of 25, we just decided to move together to a new house in which we can both live with our own privacy and space. I think this is my most beautiful memory, knowing that she still wants me to around and build a new future together after some hard years.
Best memory of my mam….difficult, cause there are so many beautiful memories….well…my best (by far) are the travelling for visiting the musea memories..My mam is an archaeologist and therefore a huge antiquity lover..Every second summer of my school years (she was saving patiently money and making all the preparations), after schools were closed my mam ( who by the way was brave enough to raise me as a single mam in a very difficult and narrow minded local community) was taking me to a surprise destination to visit beautiful archaeological places…many places in Greece, Italy, Egypt, Cyprus, South America..So many… Read more »
my mum died when i was young adult so my fondest memory is every sunday having roast dinner and we all had to be there no excuses it involved all our friends and was very noisy and when we used to go out when we were 17 she’d pick us up and if there were any friends with no way to get home she’d insist on taking them home – it used to take us ages to go home but all of my friends had to get home safely !!!
My favourite memory with my mum is about the time when we moved back to Germany and she shows me my new home und as we furnished together our new home and had tons of time together <3 Following you and hiro via Facebook als Mari Na und Instagram as mari_na215. Wish you a wonderful Mother´s Day!
My favorite memory with my mom is a trip we did some years ago. That was the first time that we were only on our on. We talk so much together and I had the chance to ask all that question we never talk about befor. After this trip I fell much closer to her 🙂
My favourite memory with my mom is about the time when I already had 2 kids myself. We started to sew carnival costumes for them which was so much fun and the costumes were just amazing and unique 🙂
Such a lovely give away! Thanks for making me dig in my memories with my mum. There are so many, but I’ll always remember how she surprised me with my very first tinted lip balm when I was 10. I had mentioned it, but never expected her to give me one, since she was quite strickt with cosmetics. No junk on her little girl’s face! One day she came into my room to tuck me in for the night and she had it hidden in the palm of her hand. I believe I cried when she gave it. Since then… Read more »
I have to say that every memory associated with childhood and my mother is rare for me although not all of them are the most joyous! The moment I’m about to remember forever is the day when I was about ten years old and my mom baked perhaps the biggest cake in the world that I really wanted and she fulfilled my wish for a thousand percent 🙂 I like her very much and never changed for anyone else !!! 😀 insta: littlesmitka
