ILIA fall makeup how-to: The Sweetheart

It’s the middle of fall and it looks as though the weather might be turning sour, but those grey skies don’t mean that you can’t look sweet. It’s chilly outside, so pair this look with your coziest sweater. The Sweetheart look is perfect for collecting colorful leaves, sipping hot cocoa, and inhaling the crisp autumnal air.

How to create the look

Step 1: Starting on a freshly cleaned and moisturized face, use a combo of ILIA Vivid Foundation F1 Tularosa and F2 Gobi. Blend the mixture using the ILIA foundation brush, making sure to even out the color at the edges.

Step 2: Using ILIA Multi-Stick in the aptly named shade Tenderly, apply the blush to the highest point of the cheekbones and blend in well. The Multi-Stick merges beautifully with the skin. Tip: try smiling, as this will help you to see the highest point of your cheekbones better.

Step 3: Next, with another multistick, this time a highlighter called Cosmic Dancer, you’re going to create an ephemeral glow. Apply onto the cheekbones using your finger, incorporating the highlighter into the rouge. For a bit of extra glow, apply to the bridge of the nose and the tip of your lips as well.

Step 4: The mascara Nightfall by ILIA is only meant to add and enhance the tone of your eye lashes, so apply a light coat — for that super natural look.

Step 5: To fill out the eyes, use the ILIA Silken Shadow Stick in the shade And She Was. Apply to the entire eyelid and under the lower lashes, and a last bit onto the inner angle of the eye.

Step 6: Draw light streaks into the eyebrows using ILIA eyeliners in shades Sweet Jane and Shadowplay. Blend the powder in using a brow brush and neatly blend out the edges. This will frame your face nicely.

Step 7: For the lips used a lip condition named Shell Shock. Work in with your fingers. This shade looks wonderfully natural.

Step 8: To create a nice, even finish, lightly powder underneath your eyes, sides of your nose, and the edges of your face. Additional powdering can be done for an enhanced glow.

We here at Amazingy hope you enjoy your lovely fall look!
