It’s totally normal for our skin to lose a few shade of colour during the winter. But that doesn’t mean you have to live with it. Does it?

There are certain things you can do to get colour back to you skin, such as the solarium, spray tans or tinted moisturisers. Truth be told, some of these measure end up doing more harm than good damaging and drying the skin.

For a problem free, 100% natural tan, check this one out!

Ingredients
8 bags of organic black tea
450 mL water
1 Tbsp organic vanilla extract liquid

Method
Bring water and vanilla to a boil in a saucepan. Once boiling pour the mixture over the tea bags and leave to steep for roughly 10 minutes. This is the liquid that will be your self tanner. Once it’s completely cooled (and you’ll want it cooled) put into a spray bottle.

Preparation
Before you use your very own natural tanners, there are a few things you have to take care of prepping your skin to get that healthy glow. Exfoliate and moisturise desired areas to tan a few hours before you plan your spray session.

Application
The easiest way to do this is by holding the bottle about 10cm from the skin, spray and then rub in with your hands. This is a simple way to give it a nice even coat. Wait till it dries, then reapply until you get your desired colour, this might take up to 5-10 times. This tanning liquid can also be used on the face for a nice glowing look!

Note: This is just a temporary tan, and will come off with water.
