Plaine - Shaving Powder
Plaine Shaving Powder simply contains eight ingredients that are all natural without any synthetics, alcohol, fragrance, preservatives or any other ingredient that can cause irritations.
All natural and plant-based ingredients are biodegradable, based on the OECD 301 test.
Plaine has proven its skin-friendliness by doing a patch test on 24 healthy test persons, 21 test persons with sensitive skin, 3 allergy sufferers and 2 atopic patients. Plaine is meeting the standards of the BDIH for natural cosmetics and therfore bears the seal of the BDIH. Plaine abstains from using infrequently produced, with propellant gas filled aluminium aerosol cans or plastics pump bottles. Instead they use FSC-certified paper for their packaging, registered at “Grüner Punkt”.
The Plaine starter package contains 30 sachets (one sachet = one-time use) as well as a luxurious porcelain dish by the company ‘Walküre’. The dish is marked on the inside so the user always knows how much water is needed to reach the perfect consistency for the shaving foam. Fill up the porcelain dish up until the mark and add the powder from the sachet. Stir with your finger and you will get the perfect shaving foam.
One sachet is enough for one full shave.
The refill package also contains 30 sachets (one sachet = one-time use) and is made for everyone who already owns the porcelain dish but needs to refill his stack of sachets or for the ones who do not wish to purchase the porcelain dish and rather use their own bowl to mix the foam.

WATER, POWDER, STIR, DONE!
Each of the 30 sachets contains 4 grams of Plaine shaving powder. There are two ways of creating the perfect shaving foam:
If you own the Plaine porcelain dish (comes with the plaine starter kit):
You will achieve best results if you use plaine's own porcelain dish which is produced by Walküre. The dish has a mark on the inside which indicates the perfect amount of water. Simply fill water in the dish to the mark, add plaine shaving powder and stir the mixture with your finger for 15 seconds.
If you don't own the Plaine porcelain dish:
Of course you can also use any other container or even your hands. Add the plain shaving powder to approx. 10 ml of water and stir with your finger for about 15 seconds to create the foam. With a little practice, this method will also work perfectly.
Sodium Myristoyl Glutamate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Talc, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Maltodextrin.
Consumers are becoming more conscious of the ingredients in the cosmetics and personal care products that we are putting on our body. Many cosmetic labels claim that products are “natural,” “healthy,” and “safe,” but the government does not always really define or investigate the use of these terms on personal care and cosmetic labels.
So, what can a consumer look for on a cosmetic label or personal care label to make an informed decision about ingredients? With this topic more popular than ever, we state exactly how organic a product is, if it is certified, and what that certification actually means.
Whether a product is stated as pregnancy safe here, this is mostly the opinion of the brand. Please always consult your Doctor if you want absolute certainty.
As you can see, we don't sell 100's of brands. The reason for this is that we continue to carefully make a selection of the enormous amount of brands to end up with what we consider to be THE top-quality, high-performing skin care, hair care, makeup, and mom & baby products out there, with the best ingredients nature has to offer, and made by ethical & passionate companies. We hope this will make it easier for you to choose.
