Kjaer Weis - Lip Tint | Rapture
“This is a color a 70’s “it” girl would wear, like Bianca Jagger. It looks just as good now as it did then.” - Kirsten Kjaer Weis
- A bright, blue-based pink suitable for all skin tones, and especially flattering on darker complexions.
- Smooth, velvety texture and finish.
- We love pairing this color with a defined eye for a look of understated polish.
2.4 grams - Made in Italy
Note: While most KJAER WEIS products are Certified by the CCPB (the Italian organic certifying authority), Kjaer Weis lip tint in “Rapture” uses a tiny amount of syntetic dyes (which are of course allowed by both the FDA and EU for use in personal care products).
While these dyes have been proven safe, they are not organic. However, 95% of the remaining ingredients used in “Rapture” are high-quality organic raw materials, making “Rapture” as close-to-organic as possible without having to compromise the beautiful color.
Kirsten: I believe that full transparency is necessary in order to provide my customers with the choice in using this color or not. In order for the KJAER WEIS color range to offer certain colors it will be necessary to now and then use a small percentage of non-organic color dyes and I will always acknowledge this choice to my consumers.
The Kjaer Weis lip tint goes on best when applied with the fingers, or for a more defined look, using the Kjaer Weis Lip Brush. It leaves the lips moisturized, with a modern, not-too-shiny finish.
Consumers are becoming more conscious of the ingredients in the cosmetics and personal care products that we are putting on our body. Many cosmetic labels claim that products are “natural,” “healthy,” and “safe,” but the government does not always really define or investigate the use of these terms on personal care and cosmetic labels.
So, what can a consumer look for on a cosmetic label or personal care label to make an informed decision about ingredients? With this topic more popular than ever, we state exactly how organic a product is, if it is certified, and what that certification actually means.
Whether a product is stated as pregnancy safe here, this is mostly the opinion of the brand. Please always consult your Doctor if you want absolute certainty.
As you can see, we don't sell 100's of brands. The reason for this is that we continue to carefully make a selection of the enormous amount of brands to end up with what we consider to be THE top-quality, high-performing skin care, hair care, makeup, and mom & baby products out there, with the best ingredients nature has to offer, and made by ethical & passionate companies. We hope this will make it easier for you to choose.
